Bago pa ang deklarasyon ng PDC, ang LGU ng Sarallah ay kinilala ang mga barangay na kasali sa Agro-Industrial Zone ng Bayan na kung saan matatagpuan ang mga malalaking imbestor tulad ng ________, Stanfileo at NM _______.

DALAWANG 5X5 STALL BUILDING, ITATAYO Itatayo ang dalawang bagong proyektong staff building o rental building sa barangay Lumian Public Market kung saan ang isang buong stall building ay nagkakahalaga ng P214,000.00 at ang isa naman nagkakahalaga ng P168,000.00 ngunit hindi pa ito tuluyang matatapos bagkus patuloy itong nagsasagawa. Ang gagamitin sa pagpapatayo ng nasabing proyekto ay magmumula sa IRA o Internal Revenue Allotment na nagkakahalaga ng P484,134.00. Layunin nitong mabigyan ng kaginhawaan ang mamimili at maluwagan ang kanilang pagsisiksikan sa isang stall building at para naman madagdagan ang kita ng Barangay mula sa ibabayad ng mga upa upang idagdag sa susunod nang mga proyekto. Ang nasabing proyekto ay pangungunahan ni Hon. Kgd. Sandy Piolo na siyang tagapamuno ng kasama ang kanyang miyembro na sina Hon. Kgd. , Hon Kgd. Vic , Hon. Kgd. Rey Pagdato at Hon. Kgd. Aguirre. Development sa Project ng Barangay kag. ________________________. Barangay Lamian ito ang binitawang pahayag ni Hon. Kgd. Sandy Piolo hingil sa kanilang Bagong proyekto. Nagpatayo na sila ng bagong _____ sa purok _____ na nagkakahalaga ng P40,000.00 na nagmula rin sa 20% ng IRA.

CLUSTER SANITARY LANDFILL, TUMANGGAP NG PARANGAL SA ‘GALING POOK’. Tumanggap ng parangal ang Cluster Sanitary Landfill (CSLF) ng Bayan ng Surallah sa prestihiyosong ‘Galing Pook Awards’ (GPA) at napabilang sa 10 leading innovative local government-led initiative ngayong taon. Ang naturang parangal ay iginawad mismo ni Pangulong Benigno S. Aquino sa Malacanang noong Oktubre 21 at tinanggap ni Gov. Daisy Avance Fuentes ng South Cotobato at Hon. Mayor Antonio Bendita ang pagkilalang nasyonal. Isa sa 17 na pinakamagaling na programang local ang CSLF na naglaban upang mapili bilang isa sa 10 outsatnding Local Government Program Catergory ng nasabing patimpalak. Ayon kay Gobernador Fuentes, kumuha ng atensyon ng nasyunal na komitiba ng Galing Pook ang kakaibang disenyo ng Sanitary Landfill at makabagong sistema ng impluwensya nito. Ito tin daw ang unang CSLF sa bansa na kumukita at kayang masustentuhan ang pasilidad kung pagbabatayan ang operasyon nito. Sabi ni Siegfied Flaviano, Provincial Environmental Management Office chief ng South Cotobato na ang Sanitary Landfill sa Surallah ay kasalukuyang nag-iisang pasilidad na tinatapunan ng mga di-nabubulok na basura. Dagdag pa niya, ang operasyong nasabing pasilidad ay tumutulong na mapagtibay ang implementasyon ng mga programa sa Solid Waste Management ng Munisipyo. NApatayo ang anim na ektaryang Landfill sa Colongulo South Cotobato sa pagsasanib ng LGU (Surallah, Norala, T’boli, Sto. Nino, Banga at Lake Sebu) sa Upper Valley area at United States Agency for International Development na tumutulong sa pagdidisensyo nang naturang CSLF. Sa bias ng kasunsuang pinirmahan ng anim na bayan ay nagkaroon sila ng iisang sanitary landfill. DEXTER F. TEMPLONUEVO
Deped naglunsad ng “Abot-Alam
Deped naglunsad ng “Abot-Alam’, Lamian NHS nakiisa Kaugnay sa paglulunsad ng Nasyunal na proyekto ng Department of Education (Deped) at National Youth Commission (NYC) na ‘Abot-Alam’, nakiisa ang Lamian National High School kabilang ang mga eskwelahan at mga Distrito ng Bayan ng Surallah sa mithiin ng DepEd at NYC na mabigyang pansin ang mga pangangailangan ng mga Out-of-school Youth (OSY). Sabay sa paglulunsad ng programang pagpirma ng Statement of Commitment ng mga nabanggit na institusyon sa Veterans, Surallah noong Oktubre 28. Kasama rin sa mga lumagda ang LGU-Surallah, mga ahensiya ng Gobyerno at NGO. Dinaluhan din ang nasabing aktibidad ng mga opisyal ng Dibisyon ng South Cotobato sa pangunguna ni Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Crispin A. Soliven Jr. at Dr. Marivic C. CAbuglas, EPS-1 sa Alternative Learning System (ALS). Naipatupad ang buong implementation ng ‘Abot-Alam sa bansa noong Setyembre 30, na ginanap sa Tagbilaran City, Bohol. Ang ‘Abot-Alam ay isang inisyatibo upang mahanap at makilala ang OSY at maipasok sila sa nababagay na programa sa edukasyon, pagnenegosyo at employment. Seeing a child smoking and drinking alcohol is indeed a dreadful scenery for someone to see. Children who are supposed to be in school, studying their lesson to be competent and ready for their future are sometimes if not most of the time misaligned in their tract. Because of so many factors, such as media and too much curiosity, our youth nowadays love to try almost everything. They just try and do it wihtout even thinking of it. Cruz thought of ways on how to get the attention of these children aging 15 years and below for them not to be hooked in any deliquent acts.

HERMOSA, Bataan - New business establishments continue to flourish within the vicinity and nearby areas of the Hermosa Ecozone Industrial Park (HEIP) in Barangay Palihan of this first-class municipality. Last Saturday, Hermosa's first tarpaulin print shop, JOK's Enterprises Graphic Design Solution, located along the national road in front of the San Isidro Chapel and just a few steps away from the main road leading to the Ecozone, was inaugurated and started its operations.
Modern Commercial Complex to Rise in Hermosa
HERMOSA, Bataan - A modern commercial complex will soon rise in this first-class municipality along the Poblacion area, Mayor Danilo “Dan” Malana confirmed Wednesday. In a news briefing, Mayor Malana told local newsmen here that it is now under construction located in a once idle portion of the town plaza. The complex is just across the municipal hall, in front of the Hermosa Elementary School and Saint Peter de Verona Academy.

HERMOSA, BATAAN --- TEAM HERMOSA bagged the second place in the recently concluded Batang Pinoy National Championship (Volleyball Boys) held January 28-February 2, 2014 at the La Salle Gym in Bacolod City. Aside from major award, three players stood out for grabbing three special awards, Clifford Miranda for Best Attacker; John Philip Nuguid for Best Server and Adrian Derrel Libao for Best Libero. Prior to winning this national competition, the team emerged Champion in the Batang Pinoy Luzon Leg held Iba, Zambales last October 5-8, 2013.

Gulayan sa Paaralan is under the Department of Education. Oh my Gulay! (OMG) Advocacy Program. It aims to expand vegetable garden projects in schools to address malnutrition so as to help school children to get better nutrition. It is a school community food production of DepEd and Department of Agriculture (DA) where an area of school shall be allotted for production of nutrient-rich fruits and vegetables such as legumes, rootcrops , malunggay and papaya which shall then be used for feeding the underweight school children.
Ten young mathematicians of Hermosa Elementary School participated in the Division Level (FINAL), Oral Competition of the Metrobank – MTAP DepEd Math Challenge in Capunitan Elementary School, Orion, Bataan Last January 30, 2014. Among these pupils, Job D. Trocino and Francine Nicole S. De Guia won first place in the Grade III level and Aireal Emmanuel A. Escalona and Julian Reign Salenga of Grade I and Gian Carlo E. Gaza with Cyruz John E. Pabalate of Grade VI both got 3rd place.
SBMA to help develop 7 municipalities
Subic Bay Freeport — In a bid to enhance further the boundaries of the Subic Special Economic Zone (SSEZ), the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) is urging local government officials to allow the agency to develop areas in their respective municipalities. SBMA Chairman Robert Garcia said that it will be beneficial to both the agency and the local government units (LGUs) if a part of their area is developed into an industrial zone, providing employment to residents while collecting property tax from the investor itself.
P50-M Loan of Hermosa with LBP Approved
Hermosa, Bataan – The Landbank of the Philippines (LBP) today has approved the P50-Million loan application of the LGU of Hermosa, Bataan to finance the implementation of the following Projects: 15.9 M-concreting of various barangay roads and P34.1-M-Expansion of the Hermosa public cemetery in Brgy. San Pedro and rehabilitation of the sanitary landfill facility located in Brgy. Mambog.

The Hermosa town fiesta basically is an annual celebration in honor of its patron saint, St. Peter of Verona of the Hermosa Catholic Parish. Celebrated every 3rd of May, the occasion is a very good time to visit the place since all households are in festive mood and generally, visitors are invited to dine and drink free. Even people from other religions celebrate the town fiesta.
During Holy Week, people all over the country visit the Nature’s Basilica for worship and meditation. The Nature’s Basilica, also known as Mariapolois City of Mama Mary, is a religious tourist spot situated in Sacrifice Valley. It was built in the year 2000 and became the Pilgrim Center of Apostolic Catholic Church’s devotees.
